Christmas Eve FAQ

Q: What kind of church is this?
First Church is a multi-campus (Burlington, KY and Union, KY) non-denominational church. Leading people to Know, Worship and Serve Jesus Christ. You can read more about our beliefs HERE.

Q: Why do you have two locations?
A multi site church allows you to choose a location that works best for you and your family. Both campuses are serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are rooted, while receiving leadership and teaching from the Burlington Campus.

Q: Can you tell me about your Christmas Eve Service?
We have eleven different Christmas Eve services for you to choose from at both of our campuses (Burlington and Union). Our service will be about 65 minutes long and will include Christmas songs, a relevant message, communion, candle-lighting, and offering. The offering time is for regular attenders of First Church. There is no obligation for our guests to participate in the offering.

Q: What type of message will I hear?
Our Lead Pastor, Darin Mirante will be delivering the message. The message will be around 20 minutes long. To give you a better idea of what to expect, you can watch a message from previous weekends HERE

Q: Can my children join me in the Service?
Yes, you are more welcome to bring your children into the service. We’ll also have our FC|Kids ministry available for children from birth-preschool. We offer safe and engaging environments with background checked volunteers that will care for your child just as you would. If you're a first time guest and you'd like to take advantage of checking your child into FC|Kids, we encourage you to "Pre-Register" your child by planning your first visit HERE.This will save you time before the service.

Q: Are all of the services the same?
Yes, all of our main service will be the same at both campuses.

Q: What should I wear?
We encourage you to wear what you feel comfortable in. You'll see some wearing jeans and a t-shirt and others will dress more formally.

Q: Where do I park?
Both locations have parking that surrounds the building. We also have multiple handicap spots available near the main entrances. If you're a first time guest to First Church we encourage you to park in the "Guest Parking" these spots are close to the entrances and available just for you. To reserve one of these spots, let us know you're coming by Planning Your First Visit.

Q: Are there large crowds?
We offer 11 services during Christmas because we want to have enough room for everyone. Our Worship Room at Burlington can seat nearly 1,000 people and Union can seat 300. We do encourage you to arrive around 15 minutes prior to the service start times.
